Earlier this week, Dark Harbor announced what to expect for their upcoming 2016 run.  This attraction has been one of my personal favorites over the years for its combination of truly ghostly settings, intimate scares, and ambitious scope considering its resources.  What do we have to look forward to this year?  Well...

Ghoulish spirits, old and new, will descend upon The Queen Mary in Long Beach for the most anticipated twenty-two terrifying nights of the year. Dark Harbor’s Sinister Seven Spirits: Ringmaster, Captain, Samuel the Savage, Graceful Gale, Half-Hatch Henry, Scary Mary and the newest malevolent resident will haunt the grounds of Dark Harbor nightly.

Fan favorite The Ringmaster returns for another year of scares and debauchery.

Ringmaster promises to unleash her band of misfit monsters under the gruesome big top of Circus - a maze that continues to disorient with horrifying illusions, death-defying acts and spirited thrills. Dark Harbor’s youngest soul, Scary Mary, who has haunted the ship since her mysterious drowning in the first class pool in 1952, will leave fear-seekers gasping for air in the enhanced Lullaby maze. DeadriseSoulmate and B340 mazes have been re-engineered to deliver a darker descent into the depths of Queen Mary’s sinister past.

This year’s Paintball Shooting Gallery sends guests on an other-worldly adventure and Sideshow grants “backstage” passage into the macabre underworld of the traveling circus. Haunt-fanatics can even double down on this year’s new double-sided small tops to host a private soiree featuring close-up freak shows with instant complimentary access to SideShow directly from a private Creepy Cabana.

Take in a mesmerizing fire show on the main stage, have a spin on the Sinister Swings, and toss back all-you-can-eat tacos in the exclusive R.I.P. Lounge. But get the party started early and arrive during Happy Haunting Hour to down a happy hour potion in the all-new Voodoo Brew.

B340 had a fantastic debut in 2014, continued success last year, and returns this year as well.
